This is a fun one.  I've had "Bite the Habanero" sitting around for 15-20 years.  No joke.  Started writing it in high school.  It was a bass solo, but I set it to drums for kicks (and to test out some software) and it finally came to be a full-fledged, official release.  I like it a lot.  It's just bass and drums, but I don't think it feels like it.  It's upbeat, it's different, and it's fulfilling to finally have it out there.  I'd had it in mind to change the name of the song if it ever saw an official release, but when you've call a song by a name for 20 years, it just kinda sticks.

Played on my Rickenbacker 4003 bass in its recording debut, this song is also used as the intro/outro music for the Empty Checking podcast.
