I realize that I am risking alienation of my more conservative fans (if any) by posting a picture of Barack Obama and a link to his website. That's actually kind of the point. I think it's sad that America has reached a point that a mere image, be it a picture of a politician or an American-flag pinned to a lapel (or perhaps the lack of one) can cause angry, aggressive behaviour and begin the hurling of insults. I believe that Barack Obama is the kind of man that has the ability to change the way we view politics, and in turn the way we view each other. I encourage you to visit his website, read his views, and make an informed decision. I pride myself on presenting honest music and behaving with integrity to my opinions and beliefs. If you've bought my CDs, it can't come as a complete surprise to you that this photo is here. I am deeply sorry that some will be offended. I'm hoping that those few will be outnumbered by those who will (hopefully) be inspired. I thought this was important enough to risk it. I hope you understand why.
